Pachuca.- La prevención de enfermedades y la protección de la salud de las familias hidalguenses son una prioridad para el gobierno de Julio Menchaca Salazar, por lo que, a través de la Secretaría de Salud de Hidalgo (SSH), se impulsa el trabajo coordinado entre instituciones para atender de manera oportuna los riesgos sanitarios y fortalecer las acciones preventivas en la entidad.
Por lo anterior y bajo este precepto, se llevó a cabo la Tercera Sesión Ordinaria del Consejo de Salud del Estado de Hidalgo (CSEH), donde se analizaron temas prioritarios y se establecieron acuerdos con responsabilidades concretas para su atención.
En este encuentro se expusieron y analizaron acciones y resultados en torno a las Enfermedades Diarreicas Agudas (EDAs) y su impacto a nivel mundial, nacional y estatal, así como los resultados del monitoreo de cloro libre residual.
A partir del análisis presentado, el Consejo acordó entre otras acciones, fortalecer la eficiencia de cloración de agua en los municipios, identificar métodos alternos de desinfección para los sistemas municipales, incrementar el número determinaciones de cloro libre residual en el ámbito municipal y actualizar el diagnóstico de fuentes de abastecimiento afectadas por la vaguada, mediante la participación coordinada de municipios, Comisión Estatal de Agua y Alcantarillado (CEAA), Conagua y las instancias sanitarias correspondientes.
Otro de los asuntos expuestos durante la Sesión fue la prevención de las Enfermedades Diarreicas. De acuerdo a la información presentada, durante el año 2026, el 94.8 por ciento de los casos de EDAs asociaron con alimentos contaminados y el 63 por ciento se registró por consumo de alimentos en el hogar.
Ante esta situación, se establecieron acciones de prevención y promoción de la salud que involucran a diferentes sectores. De esta forma se fortalecerá la capacitación a manejadores de alimentos en materia de buenas prácticas de higiene y alimentos en espacios de riesgo por EDAs.
Se exhortará a municipios a cumplir con la Normatividad en materia de cloración y desinfección del agua para uso y consumo humano, se reforzará la difusión de campañas, así como el fortalecimiento del lavado correcto de manos en instituciones educativas y vigilancia sanitaria de la venta y manejo de alimentos en puestos fijos y semifijos.
En este esfuerzo coordinado, la Secretaría de Salud, a través de la Copriseh, fomentará actividades de lavado de tinacos y cisternas en instituciones de salud, instancias gubernamentales, además del trabajo conjunto con IMSS Bienestar para que en las unidades de primer nivel de atención se realicen actividades de monitoreo de cloro libre residual.
Es de recordar que la relevancia del Consejo de Salud radica en su capacidad para generar coordinación y corresponsabilidad, además de identificar problemas que requieren atención, convocar a las instituciones involucradas y establecer acuerdos que definan qué corresponde realizar a cada instancia y dar seguimiento a su cumplimiento.
De esta manera, bajo la conducción de la Secretaría de Salud de Hidalgo y la instrucción de su titular, Vanesa Escalante Arroyo, el Consejo fortalece su papel como el enlace interinstitucional para atender de manera conjunta los desafíos sanitarios de la entidad, privilegiando la prevención, la protección de la salud y la atención oportuna de los riesgos identificados.
La sesión estuvo conducida por la Subsecretaria de Servicios de Salud, Georgina Romo Hernández, con la participación de Diana Reyes Gómez, Subsecretaria de Salud Pública y Luis Alberto Mercado Hernández, titular de la Copriseh, además de representantes de instituciones de salud y otras instancias involucradas y responsables de dar cumplimiento a cada uno de los acuerdos pactados.
